Late 2008 the MoD purchased three MI-17 hips, basing one in Afghanistan and two at MoD Boscombe Down in Wiltshire. They are quietly being used to teach Afghan pilots to instruct on the hip. They are not expected to be around much longer hence why i intend to photograph as much of them as i can...
