The Salisbury Plain is the UK's biggest military training estate and covers 150 square miles!

The majority of air traffic is that of the Army Air Corps (AAC) based at Middle Wallop. Aircraft that operate out of here are mainly Squirrel, Gazelle, Lynx, Apache and Bell 212.

Also Aircraft from the Empire Test Pilot School (ETPS) and Qinetiq both based at Boscombe down use different areas regularly.
